BACCO has taken a dynamic initiative among others to train thousands of unemployed graduates/ diploma holders of the country of ages 18 to 40 in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) such as; Call Centres; data entry; Accounting, HR, Healthcare, legal process, etc. and place them on jobs under Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). This special project is run jointly by Skills Development Coordination and Monitoring Unit (SDCMU) of Finance Division under Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and BACCO. SDCMU is providing necessary financial support to BACCO which is basically provided by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as loan to the Government of Bangladesh to provide assistance to 1.25 million youth by 2024 in the focus sectors.
A graduate/ diploma qualified jobless person who is interested to participate in SEIP training can receive details information regarding the project, benefits of training under this project, admission procedure in details and employment related information by calling BACCO on 09614334455. Thereafter, s/he can decide and get admission for training in SEIP-BACCO project, receive training for two months on BPO, work in BPO sector in home and abroad and develop his/her career in this challenging but promising sector. It may be noted here that a trainee will not have to pay any charge for training under SEIP. Instead, the trainee will receive training contents and daily snacks free of cost and taka 3000/00 per month as stipend/ training allowance. Finally, most of the trainees will be placed in suitable jobs to build up their career in BPO sector.
